They had no real choice.

They knew that Kamala could not beat Trump in a general election, which turned out to be correct, so they tried Biden one last time. The problem was, after the debate with Trump, as Biden fell flat on his face, there was no real way for him to beat Trump either.

So, they went with Kamala because they had nothing really to lose.

As for the Constitutionality of it all, no one cares, especially those in government and the media and the courts.

I said at the time... here, on FB, and elsewhere, that the Dems should fall back on the historical Open Convention approach...

Saying that they really needed to do that or that they would be sorry... that failure to do so would come back to haunt them...

And so it did...

We don't anoint our leaders.. we elect or choose them...

And... given the tight timeline between Joe's Debate Disaster and the election... there was still time to arrange an Open Convention...

Rather than running a D.E.I. Hire... someone who pulled out of the primaries years ago because she couldn't make any headway...

On cue, the Democratic Machine tried to re-invent her and pitch her as the Voice of Reason...
