They had no real choice.

They knew that Kamala could not beat Trump in a general election, which turned out to be correct, so they tried Biden one last time. The problem was, after the debate with Trump, as Biden fell flat on his face, there was no real way for him to beat Trump either.

So, they went with Kamala because they had nothing really to lose.

As for the Constitutionality of it all, no one cares, especially those in government and the media and the courts.

Americans care, but no one cares about them either.

The Dems were really between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, they spent the previous four years accusing Republicans of being “waaaaacist!!,” so how could they bypass the DEI idiot and go with a qualified candidate instead?
