One thing I have learned so far from Trump 2.0

One thing I have learned so far from Trump 2.0

Is how DEEP the LOVE for the fed gov the left has. My gawd man, its mind blowing.

And think about it: in the 1960s-1970s, the democrats, the left were the party against The Man. Big government was the enemy. Remember the Vietnam War protests.

Now the Left IS The Man. They are defending the Fed, they are fighting to go to war, both on distant foreign soils and here on our streets.

Fear mongering. This country produces so much corn we run out of places to put it.

And with modern technology, it’s only getting more abundant.
It isn't fearmongering, all the while you ignore the risks we cannot control, such as flooding or drought. Those will happen, so what then? It is stupid to pin your prosperity on things you have absolutely no control over.

That is not it at all. I don't think anyone would argue the feral government isn't rife with bloat, pork, and corruption, and it needs regular pruning.
You have to do it with a scalpel though, not a sledgehammer.
And it's (funding/budget) all tied together like a knit sweater....or a house of cards maybe. If you pull in the wring place or snip the wrong threads without knowing what you are doing the whole thing could unravel/fall.
The ONLY people who will be hurt by a total collapse of our government will be US.
YOU.....MAGAts.
You don't really think that South African proxy president and his useful idiot trained chimp are going to suffer from incompetent policy do you?
So you don't hire a convicted criminal to appoint a foreign born nazi to tackle corruption. It is counterintuitive for you MAGAts to be viewing these corrupt billionaires as your saviors.
You are useful idiots to them and they are laughing at you every day.

You have to do it with a scalpel though, not a sledgehammer.

Cut the first $1.5 trillion with a sledgehammer.
The next $1.5 trillion we'll use a scalpel.

If you pull in the wring place or snip the wrong threads without knowing what you are doing the whole thing could unravel/fall.

If our $7 trillion federal government can "fall" if we pull the wrong string,
we're spending way too much.

Sure is. You’re now dealing with a straw man; since no one has ever proposed making ethanol our solitary source of fuel.

Congress does not have the scientific knowledge to make new environmental rules, gomer. That's why scientists at the EPA do it.

Not only that, Congress does not have the time to constantly monitor the fucking environment and keep passing new environmental laws every fucking day. That's the whole point of giving certain government agencies like the EPA the ability to make these decisions.

It's not "corruption"...no matter what you idiot fucks think. The only "corruption" is Trump trying to end the EPA in order to please his oil and coal billionaire buddies.

Congress does not have the scientific knowledge to make new environmental rules, gomer. That's why scientists at the EPA do it.

Silly twat, Congress gets to vote on the rules, not unelected bureaucrats.

You think people are going to starve because of ethanol? That’s idiotic. Growing fuel makes sense when you have a massive abundance of productive land.

It’s just another one of the ways we heavily subsidize the relatively poor and unproductive rural communities.

Growing fuel makes sense when you have a massive abundance of productive land.

Wasting food, energy and money to make ethanol is stupid.

It always cracks me up when people think that we eat field corn.

You morons really don’t understand anything about farming.

Yeah, we could never do anything else with it besides waste more energy and money to turn it into ethanol.

DURR

Trying to find waste, fraud, shrink the work force etc is a big no-no, apparently. They looooooooove the bureaucracy. Frankly, its disturbing the love they have for wastefulness and bullshit programs that do not benefit us at all.

How do you think they've gotten rich?

Kickbacks

Why don't you list the other uses, besides ethanol, and I'll pick my favorites?

No, gomer...they don't.

Total MAGA bumpkin dumb fucks like MTG and Lauren Boebert wouldn't fucking understand what they are voting for, anyway.

Okay. Save taxpayer dollars by ending Medicaid.

Then kick all the elderly out of their nursing homes because Medicaid isn’t paying for them anymore.

Not rocket science here, guys. We spend money on things that help people.
Nobody is ending medicaid
Grow up.

We have only discovered the very tip of the iceberg and it is far, far beyond my worst expectations.
