That is not it at all. I don't think anyone would argue the feral government isn't rife with bloat, pork, and corruption, and it needs regular pruning.
You have to do it with a scalpel though, not a sledgehammer.
And it's (funding/budget) all tied together like a knit sweater....or a house of cards maybe. If you pull in the wring place or snip the wrong threads without knowing what you are doing the whole thing could unravel/fall.
The ONLY people who will be hurt by a total collapse of our government will be US.
