After 3 years bogged down in Ukraine, how quickly is he going to capture the rest of his wish list?
It’s easier if Putin can convince someone like Trump to leverage Russia out of its economic predicament. That’s the real reason Putin wants talks, NOT because he’s strong.
Putin is desperate. Zelensky is strong.

The Russian economy is in the tank. The value of the ruble is being propped up by central bank purchases. They won’t be able to do it indefinitely and it will become apparent that the value of the ruble is disconnected from actual economy, causing it to crash.

Considering the lack of international trade Russia currently has the value of the ruble on the world market is meaningless, it's what its value is internally.
Russia's inflation rate is high, but not destroy the economy high.
