Omicron a good thing? Many doctors think so

Really? So there are no powers the state has that the Fed Govt does not? Are you sure about that?

The Constitution outlines states rights. The state has no constitutional authority to order lockdowns. That means that no governments can have lockdowns. If the USSC said a state was violating my right to bear arms, that doesn't mean cities and counties can. Nobody in the state has the constitutional ability to stop me from bearing arms.

All the President’s Lies About the Coronavirus

The phony discrimination lawsuit was settled with the agreement they admit no fault. They agreed to advertise in some black magazines or something like that. It was bullshit from the beginning. Would you like to see the FBI report on their findings? I have it.

LOL! so do I.

United States v. Fred C. Trump, Donald Trump, and Trump Management, Inc. | Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse

He never fought the university lawsuit because he became President and couldn't afford the time or taxpayer money.

bullshit. he settled because he wanted it all to go away ASAP.

he ripped his students off & the way his people went about coercing those who wanted to enroll but didn't have the cash was disgusting. getting them to max out their credit cards & possibly take out 2nd mortgages with promises to be big shot biz'nez tycoons like him.

DocumentCloud

Other than that he would have fought the money hogs all the way. Yes, eminent domain is a common practice in our nation. Are you new to this country or what?

eminent domain is for government entities to enact for the public good as a whole. NOT for a private biz'nez ray ray.

are you stuck in donny's colon or what?

Maybe now you'll listen to me when I tell you how it's a losing battle trying to debate using lies.

lol....

i see you didn't even go near his foundation lawsuit.

Oh, you mean like if a guy wears a dress that will change him into a woman? No, you and every other commie are government lapdogs. They bark commands and you lift your head off your paws and jump up running.

LOL!!!! way to deflect there, ray ray.

Correct, and nobody knows about them but you. Nobody here heard of them before, nobody in the media heard of them before, just you.

COVID Variants: What You Should Know

How many strains of COVID are there?

“We are seeing multiple variants of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that are different from the version first detected in China,” Ray says.

“Different variants have emerged in England, Brazil, California and other areas. More infectious variants such as beta, which first appeared in South Africa, may have increased ability to re-infect people who have recovered from earlier versions of the coronavirus, and also be somewhat resistant to some of the coronavirus vaccines in development. Still, vaccines currently used appear to offer significant protection from severe disease caused by coronavirus variants.”

A variant of concern has been observed to be more infectious, more likely to cause breakthrough or re-infections in those who are vaccinated or previously infected. These variants are more likely to cause severe disease, evade diagnostic tests, or resist antiviral treatment. Alpha, beta, gamma, and delta variants of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus are classified as variants of concern.

Of course, because it's never a Democrats fault and they never lie. Sorry, but you got nailed on this one.

lol.... i am not a (D), ray ray. just because you are a partisin stooge, doesn't mean everyone is.

so ... um.... it's YOU who has failed.

How am I lying. Call the clinic yourself and ask what coverage Commie Care has for their facilities. They will tell you there are none.

they ALSO accept medicaid.

Commie Care doesn't have one provider for that institution. Like I said, a complete lie from the beginning.

Big healthcarecorp didn't promise me affordable coverage. Big healthcarecorp didn't say I'd save 2,500 a year on health costs. Big healthcarecorp didn't promise if I like my doctor or hospital, I could keep my doctor and hospital. That was all promised to us by your Kenyan lawn jocky.

they were supposta thru the subsidies & they reneged. as for that 'kenyan lawn jockeu' remark - you have just outed yerself raymond.

do you starch yer hood by yerself or send it out to the cleaners?

funny how cases of the flu dropped dramatically the same year we started masking up.
The flu present now isn't the same strain as the Spanish flu. The Spanish flu was a substrain that disappeared, ending the Spanish flu pandemic. The Spanish flu was far more virulent than the strain we experience now. That's one reason.

Another reason, I believe, is that people have practiced far better personal hygiene since the pandemic started. People are washing their hands like never before.

i didn't realize you were exclusively talking about omicron. but people are mistakenly thinking omicron is the last of the variants or that any more coming down the pike will be a 'mild' one as well.

Yes, that is correct, and that is because they are weaker than the original virus. Omicron is much more contagious and much less harmful. One death in the entire US and that is being contested by some. And as your article points out, it is resistant to the current vaccines we have. With Omicron, it doesn't matter whether you're vaxed or not.

The Supreme Court ruled otherwise. They ruled a business CAN use eminent domain if it advances economic development.

ohio expanded medicaid... guess who is behind that, ray ray?

the ACA.

They didn't renege anything. The only one that did was Hussein. He lied. He sold you a bridge he never owned and you bought it.

wrong. why do you think bighealthcorp fought tooth & nail - spending millions on lobbying against the ACA & especially a public option? because it would cut into their profits... so much for that free market capitalism, 'eh?

Viruses can evolve to be more deadly

By TERRENCE FRASERJuly 1, 2021

CLAIM: No virus has ever mutated to become more lethal. As viruses mutate, they become less lethal.
AP ASSESSMENT: False. There are documented cases of viruses becoming more deadly.
THE FACTS: As the spread of coronavirus variants raise new public health questions, social media users are sharing misinformation about how viruses mutate.
A post on Facebook reads, “In the history of virology, there has never, EVER, been a viral mutation that resulted in a virus that was MORE lethal. As viruses mutate, they become more contagious/transmissible and LESS lethal.”
But in fact, there have been cases of viruses that mutated to become more deadly.

delta is resistant & that is why there are breakthrus. those breakthrus cause sickness, but not hospitalizations & intubations & death to those that are vaxxed, because there is some protection - but not as much as with the original covid19.

those that are admitted to the hospital are unvaxxed dotards getting delta.

AG James Secures Court Order Against Donald J. Trump, Trump Children, And Trump Foundation

AG James Achieves Restitution of Misused Funds, Dissolution of Foundation, and Restrictions on Charitable Activity After Donald J. Trump’s Abuse of the Trump Foundation
Trump to Pay $2 Million in Damages for Illegal Activity During 2016 Election

As part of the settlement, Attorney General James also announced that her office entered into multiple stipulations with the Trump Foundation and its directors to resolve the remaining claims in the lawsuit. Chiefly, Mr. Trump admits to personally misusing funds at the Trump Foundation, and agrees to restrictions on future charitable service and ongoing reporting to the Office of the Attorney General in the event he creates a new charity. The settlements also include mandatory training requirements for Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump. Finally, the settlements name the charities that will receive the remaining assets of the Trump Foundation as part of its dissolution.

Mr. Trump repeatedly used Foundation money for his own personal, business, and political interests, including the unlawful coordination with his 2016 presidential campaign. In the first half of 2016 — at the height of the Republican primaries — Mr. Trump used Foundation money, raised from the public, to demonstrate his purported generosity and attract votes. Mr. Trump and his campaign doled out $500,000 at a campaign rally in the days leading up to the first primary election in the nation, the Iowa caucuses, then took credit for all $2.8 million in grants the Foundation made.

Additionally, Mr. Trump admitted a number of key facts about the other self-dealing transactions he initiated as chair — specifically, that he used Foundation funds to settle legal obligations of companies he controlled, and that the Foundation paid for a portrait of Mr. Trump that cost $10,000. As separate piece of the settlement Donald Trump Jr. reimbursed the Foundation for the cost of the portrait. The settlement also requires the Foundation to be reimbursed $11,525 for sports paraphernalia and champagne purchased at a charity gala.

what a scumbag - & you support him.

the atlantic has been rated 'high' for factual reporting.

Then this report must be one of it's only kind. It's clear they were talking about a President giving hope and assurance and not not guaranteeing anything. Compare that to today where your leader is telling people about gloom and doom over a variant that hasn't even killed one American yet and his side kick telling people not to celebrate the holidays except with people that took the government vax.

the link contained the actual FBI reorts ... not a 'blog' like you provided.

Companies don't hire ambulance chasers. They hire the best lawyers which cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. The government has an endless amount of cash namely our tax dollars to try and make a case that really isn't there. It's much cheaper to try and come to some compromise instead of trying to fight endless lawyers and suits. We see this repeatedly all year long. But coming to a compromise is not in any way an admission of guilt.

This was not Donald's cash, it was company cash.

LOL!!!!! i live in CT & all too familiar with that there case. & guess what happened ray ray? after the town was bamboozled into that eminent domain takeover - with promises that it would bring all kindsa new revenue that would benefit the town ...that there case ended up with pfizer being there only for a short while & then they packed up & left the city hanging with abandoned blight & alot of unemployed people.

That doesn't discount the fact that only government can use eminent domain as you claimed. Yes, they can even if you disagree with the reason. And mind you I don't agree with the courts decision. I don't think our founders had private businesses in mind when they wrote it.

As the article explains mutations is a way for a virus to stay alive. It can't do that by killing the hosts. So it weakens in order to survive even though more contagious.
