OMG - Walmart large eggs are now $1.67 a dozen thanks to the greatest POTUS of all time.

Thanks for reminding me! I took this picture two weeks ago where I work. We were having a two-day sale on eggs for .49 cents per dozen. Since we no longer take pennies on cash transactions and round everything down to the nearest nickel, the price was actually .45 cents.

Yay President Trump!!! :banana::dance::mm::5_1_12024::thewave:

49cents a dozen is ridiculously low and likely some sort of publicity stunt (if real) and obviously has nothing to do with who is president

Gas is down 1.87% over last year. Congrats. You a rich.

Hmmm, national gas averaged 3.12 a gallon in February 2025. I paid 2.65 this morning.

Maths is hard for you, eh? Oh wait you undoubtedly jumped on December 2025 averages lol. Dumbass

Uhm...

Thats the walmart Great Value eggs. When Joe the Pedophile Vegetable was president, i was paying $8.42 for the same thing. In honest polls trump's approval rating is 85%. It's time to take lincoln and teddy off rushmore and replace with trump and melania.

Wow.

Here is the cheapest option the police state has produced from China Mart in Canada. This is significantly less than anywhere else by the way:

It was no "publicity stunt" and of course it's real. Why would I have taken a picture of the sign on the cooler? We just got a good deal on a shipment of eggs because the price was so low, and we passed the deal on to our customers. And like I said, since no more pennies are being minted, we round all cash sales down to the nearest nickel.

National versus local gas prices. How dumb do you think people are? Remember, we’re not all MAGA.

I bought eggs at Walmart two weeks ago, they weren't 1.67, and futhermore if you buy Great Value eggs, you are eating eggs full of chemicals that are not healthy for you in the long run.
Consuming lots of eggs is never good for the health regardless if the chickens are free roaming or fed growth hormones. In fact, the meat you eat are laced with growth hormones.

Awhile back a local grocery had eggs for 99 cents a dozen. I figured they were using it to draw in customers

National average was more than $5 under Biden. National average today is $2 cheaper or more. How dumb do you think people are?

It's what I paid imbecile.

You're trying to be a damn know it all, tell us how much groceries went up from 2020-2024 under your failed Potato. Don't run, don't bloviate, post the percentage smart ass

It's not like we have to draw in customers. Each coworker operating a register does on an average of $3,000-$5,000 worth of sales during their shift, and we have five registers running. The entire franchise does nearly $7 billion dollars of revenue per year, so we can afford to give our customers special deals, including daily deals.

After the .49 cent egg deal, we did bacon for .99 cents and white bread for .25 cents for a couple days each.

You do realize that eggs are eggs right? Wal Mart doesn't grow their own chickens and eggs. They're just rebranded eggs from a large supplier.

Even organic eggs from free-range chickens have high levels of environmental pollutants like dioxins that are in the feed and in contaminated soil.

That's actually not as true as we thought it once was. Eggs are like a superfood, dense rich in nutrients and "good stuff." They're not nearly as bad as we once said. The whole "cholesterol" thing of the 80's turned out to be wrong.

Key Nutritional and Health Facts:
  • Nutrient-Dense:Eggs are rich in high-quality protein, essential vitamins and minerals like selenium, zinc, and iron.
  • Brain and Eye Health: They are an excellent source of choline (crucial for brain health) and antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin (vital for eye health).
  • Cholesterol Myth:
Most cholesterol in the body is produced by the liver in response to high saturated/trans fat intake, not solely from dietary cholesterol
    .
    • Recommendations: The American Heart Association suggests one egg per day for healthy adults, and up to two per day for older individuals with healthy diets.
    • Exceptions: Individuals with high cholesterol, diabetes, or pre-existing heart disease should limit yolk intake, often recommended to four yolks per week.
    • Preparation Matters: Healthier, low-fat methods like boiling or poaching are preferred over frying in butter or bacon fat.

I'm lucky in that we get all our beef and pork from my mom's stock so it really helps when grocery shopping. I do buy bacon from the store, I can't keep it in stock the way my family devours it. There's a little grocery in a small town not far from us, cheapest meat prices around, I still can't figure out how they're doing it but they had bacon for 3.29 a pound last week

Ok. You want a respectable debate? I can appreciate that.

Here it goes. Whatever prices went up… they went up again under Trump… from a guy who said he’d lower them on day one. From a guy who said your energy bills would drop in half, within a year. They are up by the way.

Biden’s last year, clear of the pandemic, prices went up 3% just like this year. Trump hasn’t lowered prices. He hasn’t even changed the rate of increase. Overall food prices climbed 3% last year, they did not go down. Energy prices climbed 6%, they did not go down. Prescription prices went up 4%, they did not go down.

Inflation is virtually unchanged and Trump did not deliver on his promise to lower prices.

How can you be cheering this?

You neglected to answer. I'll help you, 23-25%. I really don't blame you for dodging
