I consider this era (1974-1982) to be the best in music from easy listening, to disco, to the birth of metal, to everything. Now maybe that's my memories of my upbringing..but, geez, it was awesome.

Its a mixed blessing, being old enough to remember folks that lived through the civil war. Hell, they puttered along in model A's in my childhood, now they are long gone.
