Following Up on Oklahoma Frat Scandal, the University of Georgia Bans These ‘Racist’ Clothing Items
A hoop skirt, or crinoline, was an iconic fashion image worn by women in 1800s, but with a history that extends back into the 16th century.
But at the University of Georgia, the style has been deemed “inappropriate” due to its association with the Confederacy and, consequently, has been banned

This is the case when political correctness and tolerance moving beyond any rational boundaries. This hoop skirt ban is the kind of racist propaganda. The association between skirts and social issues is quite a stretch and ridiculous. Ban all kind of that "discrimination": games, movies, books...history at all...

If old clothing can be racist (except for like KKK costumes heh) then isn't every AMC airing of "Gone With The Wind" cause for protests outside their offices? :)

They are just trying to skirt the issue.

Why not ban all video games and movies that in any way show negroes as violent thugs?

Don't be surprised if they start bitching about that too. Gone With the Wind will be gone with the wind.

Now I ask you folks, who would push for such a ban ?
