Oklahoma Passes Bill Banning ALL Abortions - No Rape Exceptions - 10 years in Prison for Performing one

Agreed, the genetics are there for it to develop into a human being like I said. But a million things could go wrong, especially if the woman who is pregnant does not want a child. And that is human and that is understandable.
Nothing that could go wrong changes species.

Things can go wrong at any age…
Additionally you added the “want” caviat. So what about the men who don’t want the kid, and the “baggage” that comes with it?

I agree passing a blanket law about abortion is ridiculous, absolutely crazy. Every case is different, only a doctor should be making these decisions. I wouldn't trust lawmakers in as far as you can throw them.

But you trusted 9 people to make a blanket law in 1973.
Weird.

Every state has safe haven laws, and allow adoptions.
Whenever I hear that clap trap, it always seems to treat bearing a child like buying a chair, don't like it, return it. Pregnancy brings a physical and emotional toll on a woman. Not to mention being reminded of the rape every single day for none months.

Try being dismembered, and having a pair of scissors rammed through your skull.

Every woman is different like every man is different. I'm sure there are some women who did suffer rape and had the child anyway.

Somebody I know was engaged to a guy. They had a child together and had plans on getting married. That was until the guy tried to rape her sister. When she kicked him out she told me she was pregnant with their second child. She had the child (3 years old now) and she lover her to death. Mind you it's not an apples to apples comparison, but I'm sure that both her children remind her of the revolting things her ex did to her. She opted to have the second child anyway.

Good thing rape pregnancies account for a fraction of a percent of all rapes.

What should be done to the children of rape victims who are forced to give birth to the children of their rapists? When Amanda Berry escaped her rapist captor she had a daughter, Jocelyn, with her. A Child of torturer, Ariel Castro. I expected those like you that support abortion, to demand the girl's immediate execution. After all, if Berry had been rescued while pregnant the child would rightfully be aborted. Right? You agree.

Keep thinking that as these desperate women try to live their lives. State-caused desperation.

Our founders designed our society so states were to operate like small countries, and that gives people more control as to who's running it instead of the federal government. They wanted it so we only need the federal government on federal maters, which of course this should never have been one of them in the first place.

For most abortion cases it's done because of irresponsibility and carelessness. Perhaps if states like Oklahoma make it difficult to get an abortion, women in the future will be more cautious with their recreational activities and not get pregnant in the first place. That way everybody would be happy.

To give equal time, I knew a woman, an executive, who was violently raped. She elected to raise the biracial girl. It did not go well. The poor kid paid for that rape every day of her life until she hanged herself at age 17. Mother was well on her way to alcoholism and drank herself to death. So... abortion isn't the worst thing to happen.

Just as poorly written as some of the ones in Blue States which can be interpreted to support infanticide if the mother chooses so, and the doctor attending concurs.

Roe made this fight pause for 40 years, hardening both sides, and you are surprised by things like this?
You either forgot or you don't know ; the whole reason Roe versus Wade came into existence in the first place, is because states were passing " egregious " abortion laws. They are doing it again already right now but it's even worse. So I don't think Roe versus Wade is going to go by the wayside. It would be atrocious, if anything they should expand it because some women like Lori Brown-Loftis don't find out until the 20th week of their pregnancy that the fetus they are carrying is unviable and the best measure would be to have an abortion. I thought blanket laws were illegal now anyway.

Now you're calling these women irresponsible and careless. Great attitude towards people you want to criminalize. How could there be any problem with that. No animosity there.

The whole reason Roe came into existence is the Court at the time thought they could "fix' the problem, when they just punted it out 40 years. Roe was based on nothing but a majority of the justices belief it should be so, and then backed up with half assed references to the Constitution. It was an abomination that lasted way too many decades, and is now being put to a well deserved death.

If your side compromised earlier, this wouldn't be happening now, but your side wanted it all, now it gets it all in Blue States, gets fucked over in Red States, and we fight it out in the purple States.

You don't understand you guys are burrying yourselves. And the supreme Court was trying to tell the states they did not have a right to pass abortion laws. I wish they went a step further and said no one has the right to pass an abortion law it's a medical procedure and it's up to the doctor and the woman involved in the situation no one else but they didn't have the balls to do that either so we end up with this horrible situation once again. It is unacceptable. The last thing we need is more people on this Earth especially people that aren't wanted.

I actually have no desire to fight abortion protection laws in NY, where I live, just as I don't care if Oklahoma bans them. My issue has always been with Roe as shit law, as well as things like not informing parents when their kid has an abortion, or taxpayers paying for contraceptive abortions.

You just keep repeating your own opinion over and over pretending it's fact, which is kind of sad.

That could be a little different since the sissy had no problem holding girls in captivity, and when he was held captive, he killed himself because he couldn't take it, so he's no longer with us. The prison guards just decided to do an Epstein on him, and nobody misses him. In fact everybody I know celebrated. Saved us some tax dollars as well.

For years people in our city presumed those three girls were long dead when they were found. I don't know how many times I passed by that street when I was working, the last thing thinking that those three were held in captivity down there.

I don't know if him staying alive would have changed her mind about keeping the child as (to my knowledge) she never discussed it in interviews. They wrote a book and even had a movie about their experiences, both of which I never seen, but perhaps her most intimate feelings are discussed there.

Perhaps, but that's not up to the Supreme Court to control. The court only decides if something is constitutional or not, and unless you can post the link to the debate on abortion by our founders or by those that passed amendments thereafter, it's safe to assume that abortion never had any constitutional protection.
