The way to do this is to make birth control as cheap and easy to obtain as a pack of gum.

What they say is most women that have an abortion been made to think their child isn’t a living human being. But that the doctor knows it is.Yet not one anti-abortion law does that. Why do you suppose that is?
I am aware it has been around forever but it doesn’t make it right. I’m curious, according to the record you’re getting your info from, what was it called? Cuz it wasn’t “abortion”.Newsflash...abortion has been around as long as humans have been around...but was never called murder until the anti-abortion freaks began calling it that in the last few decades
I think it was a bit higher, but again there are not stats. If your daughter died of a botched illegal abortion, I'm sure you'd prefer her death be listed asI looked into it a long time ago. Something around 100 women a year died from illegal abortions.
Most illegal abortions were performed by the same doctors who perform legal ones today. And if abortion was made illegal again, the same would be true.
It's not some grizzled bum with a coat hangar. That's a myth.
I think higher than that, but less than the 5Kplus per year listed in some documents. But stats are uncertain because I'm sure if my daughter died of a botched illegal abortion back then, I'd prefer death be listed as pneumonia or something.I looked into it a long time ago. Something around 100 women a year died from illegal abortions.

It's possible that the Supreme Court will revisit certain constitutional questions, but at the end of the day it is still entirely in their court.Accurate as far as it goes.
This was decided decades ago and yet here we are
That "final appeal" gets revisited every time a new Justice is appointed.
Hypocrites call abortion murder yet knowingly allow it to happen.
I am against abortion but I do not think the solution is to outlaw it. Since the passing of RvW the number of abortions per pregnancy has stayed about the same. The way to cut down on abortions is to cut down on the number of pregnancies. The way to do this is to make birth control as cheap and easy to obtain as a pack of gum.
That is my stance.
I am pro choice. Why? I am not a woman. I have no idea what a woman feels like.
It’s not up to me to tell her to carry a baby. It’s unfair to the father and the baby but life isn’t always fair. That is my stance. You?
What is the religious basis for opposing the mother's decision regarding childbearing?

Oklahoma Lawmakers Pass Bill That Bans Almost All Abortions—And Makes Performing One A Felony
The bill will now go to Gov. Kevin Stitt, who’s expected to sign it into law.www.forbes.com
The legislation bans all abortions except in the case of medical emergencies, and makes performing an abortion a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
Women in Oklahoma must now keep their rape baby as an eternal reminder of what happened to them - the only exception is a medical emergency.
Thoughts?!
I'm pro-choice because I'm a small government Republican.
If a female gets pregnant, her choice is between her and her parents if she's a minor. It's between her and her clergy or religion if she's religious, in all cases, it should be between her and the assumed father. But an unwanted pregnancy should not be between her and her government.
That said, Roe vs Wade was wrong. There are no direct constitutional protections for abortion. They simply bastardized an amendment to make it fit.
First degree rape is only mandatory 5 year sentence, and no fine. An 18 year old girl can get 10 years for an abortion or come up with the funds to raise a child to 18 years old, totalling some $172,000 plus, on average even if raped.
You got to admit, comparatively it sounds like a bargain for any male pervert in the country. Wait til Oklahoma's tourist bureau gets a hold of this!
I don't think so. But it seems to attempt to punish anyone who "mails" abortion drugs.Does anyone know if the bill addresses self-administered abortions in any way?
They will make it illegal to produce or distribute the drugs. As self-administered abortion becomes a reality, laws like this will become irrelevant. What will the statists do to control abortion then?
US mail is federal and reaching out to another state is problemmatic, another country, impossible. That assumes states like Cali don't pass shield laws just for that purpose, which is likely in the very short term.I don't think so. But it seems to attempt to punish anyone who "mails" abortion drugs.
Another group of people not willing to actually back up their words.
The doctor gets punished but the mother who seeks it out and pays for gets off scott free.
These people claim there is not one difference between the baby in the womb and the baby out of the womb yet their laws never reflect this.
Cowards is what they are
