I am against abortion but I do not think the solution is to outlaw it. Since the passing of RvW the number of abortions per pregnancy has stayed about the same. That is my stance.

Condoms already are and we see the result of that. Most women don't find themselves with an unwanted pregnancy due to availability or price of birth control, they get pregnant out of irresponsibility.

A small Government Republican might say -

A person should not use the Government to issue proclamations that protect them from murder charges.

First degree rape is only mandatory 5 year sentence, and no fine. An 18 year old girl can get 10 years for an abortion or come up with the funds to raise a child to 18 years old, totalling some $172,000 plus, on average even if raped.
