Not at all. Companies have been "forcing" flu shots for decades for those whom wish to get a paycheck from said company. Colleges "force" all sorts of vaccinations for those who wish to go to school there. The military forces all sorts of shots and more on those who sign on the dotted line.

Of course they can. An individual can freely give any medical information they wish to give, HIPAA (not HIPPA) does not stop that. If they choose not to give it, then they find a new job....capitalism at its finest.

Also, people that go on light duty often have to have a doctors release saying they are cleared to work, using your logic that too would be a HIPAA violation.

As already correctly noted: no one is ‘forcing’ anyone to do anything.

As conservatives have argued for decades: if you don’t like the policies of your employer or how your employer is treating you, find employment elsewhere – employers are not required to accommodate their employees.

Of course, this bad-faith legislation isn’t about ‘benefiting’ working Americans, it’s about partisan politics and the right’s unwarranted opposition to perfectly safe and effective vaccines.

Such is the hypocrisy of the reprehensible right.
