It will take 8.3 trillion more kWh to make up the shortage of the 8.3 trillion so if the shortage is made up by solar panels,
$38 trillion dollars jis needed just to create the additional 8.3 trillion kWh.

It will require 187 billion more solar panels. Production today is about 6 million per year or 187 billion would take 31,000 years to build the 187 billion panels.
Has anyone consider these details???

how is that different than running out of gas??
Because a fellow boater can lend you some gas.

Who the Hell is going to be able to charge your stupid Electric Boat in the Middle of a lake like that, worse yet, The Ocean?

Not only that Gasoline Powered Boats have massive range over EVs.

It's not even close.

EVs are the most impractical vehicles ever designed.

Are they kinda cool? Yep, but you cannot run an industrialized nation on them.

Only about 1% of this country's vehicles are EVs.

Going to 5% would put a massive strain on our electric grid.

California already is rationing electricity, and Oregon is having rolling blackouts because Green Energy does not work large scale. It is good as supplemental power and nothing more.

A couple years ago Texas made the mistake of relying too much on alternative energies like Wind and Solar. All it took was one bad snow storm to freeze a bunch of people to death.

Green Energy literally kills people. The minerals needed to build such systems also kill people and are highly toxic.

Also, your fantasy boat in just 5-10 years will require a complete replacement of all the batteries which means it will cost nearly as much to replace the batteries as you paid for the entire boat.

Do you want to buy a disposable boat?

Who is dumb enough to do that? Liberals and people with a sense of false morality, that's who.

This whole Green Energy thing is nothing more than a political slogan for dummies to eat up and be manipulated with.

EVs should only be looked at as a toy, or an alternative, or something cool, but never as a replacement for The Combustion Engine.

There can't ever be enough rare earth minerals produced to cover this pipe dream.

Imagine the mining and the pollution from that mining to get to even half of all US vehicles.

Mining is extremely dirty, and each battery pack requires moving 500,000 pounds of earth. The little fools who are setting us on this trajectory are clueless.

Others, like the WEF, are pushing it to destroy the middle class and take all authority for themselves. Force people into mega-cities and tiny apartments with no AC just neighborhood cooling centers. IOW, dystopia.

Another EV moron wouldn't even tow it in because of the drain on their limited charge. The short-sightedness of these idiots is remarkable.
Especially when the boat no doubt will have a Biden Sticker on it.
But some Red Neck Fisherman with a gasoline engine might have pity on The EV Boat and it's captain.
That's what will end up towing the boat in.

Lastly, umm.....water, electric motors....and electric battery packs don't play very nice together, so the cost to make all of that 100% water proof and dependable on the open water would be more, I would think.

Maybe we need to build more Nuclear Plants and Coal Burning Plants to produce enough Power for Lefty's Pipe Dream of Abolishing Gasoline?

Just think, every County in The US with it's only Nuclear Power Plant.

That should get the job done.

Ever wonder why the glowarm green loonbats never chastise or scold china? China started mining rare earths 300 miles north of hong kong and the environment is completely toxic. Of course you never hear the glowarm green religion talking about that because they're too busy glowing about their "sustainable" electric cars while the environments in which these rare earth minerals were extracted have been turned into a mad max scorched earth pile of worthless soil, dead trees, polluted waters, landslides, radiated ground water, etc.

Many of us agree with your statement.
More to the point. Mining for lithium is highly detrimental and dangerous to the environment.
