Oil Production, Gas Prices Since 1990, Oil Company Profits First Quarter 2022

how much stock does he own?.....
How much stock did Oil Man George Bush own in 2008 when gas was over $4 a gallon? Did you ever ask how much stock he owned in oil and gas? Of course not.

Just like you think Hunter is shady for making $1 million dollars a year, which is nothing in corporate America, but you have no problem with the Saudi's giving Jared Kushner 2 BILLION. Nothing shady there. But that Hunter. Better look into him.

So since it’s all Biden is this only an America problem or are gas prices high in other areas of the world??

The rest of the world doesnt have the amount of oil we have locked up in Alaska, or the amount of natural gas we have. The rest of the world doesn't have our potential to be oil independent.

Umm, of course they do. Obviously not all countries but most major countries do

Somebody is fucking lying through their teeth. Since Joe Biden doesn't own any drilling rigs, or refineries, just who is it that's lying?
The thing I find most curious is that oil peaked at $145 a barrel in 2008 and gas prices hovered around four dollars.

Today, oil is around $100 a barrel, so why are gas prices so much higher than 2008?

Something doesn't add up.

They are going to blame supply shortages and the ONLY possible way to curb use is to raise prices… if that leads to record profits then that is just an unfortunate circumstance for these poor oil and gas companies

Saudi Arabia is oil independent. They are currently producing less oil than they were during the pandemic, when oil production was at its lowest in decades.

They want oil prices to remain high.

Venezuela is doing the same thing.

The companies will keep raising the price of gasoline until they see a significant drop in amount sold and then they will lower them back down and tell us how lucky we are to see it lower.

The oil companies are slow walking their production increase in order to keep the stockholders happy.

Chevron raises buybacks and says exposure to Russia is limited

Major oil companies are responding to a jump in profits this year from higher oil and gas prices by giving back more cash to shareholders, many of whom have been frustrated by years of low returns.

So far,
most shale operators have signaled that they plan to put capital returns above output growth, even as U.S. oil prices crossed $100 per barrel earlier this week.

Their prices go up and down with their costs. I don't think it's the gas stations gouging us. Their prices went up too. Are they the ones gouging us? Because it seems to be the oil companies. Their profits are through the roof. Of course you defend that. You're a con.

Ok.

Are they the ones gouging us?

What do you mean by gouging?

Because it seems to be the oil companies.

Don't you mean the refiners?

Their profits are through the roof.

They sure are!!!

Of course you defend that.

They make a useful, in demand product which has about doubled in price since Joe took office.
Am I supposed to attack their profits? Why?

Was Bush trying to reduce the supply of oil available to us?
US oil production increased by 31 percent in Biden's first year.

Starting from the same place, US oil production only increased by 21 percent in Trump's first year.

Biden also approved more drilling leases than Trump.

Why does Trump hate America?

The effect on the American people is going to be severe. There will be a large increase in the number of Americans living in poverty.

Trump promised to change that but he failed in his first term.

Will he doublecross his very wealthy benefactors and deal with it in his next term?

Maybe Trump really does have a plan for health care??

Heh.

So Bush wasn't trying to reduce the supply of oil available to us?

He sounds awesome!! Maybe he should open ANWR and sell more offshore leases?
Maybe stop attacking fossil fuels?

No kidding. Would you invest billions with the risk that tomorrow Biden could sign a new EO or implement a new regulation that could destroy your investments?
Um...retard? Did you read the article? Obviously not.

Instead of your stupid made-up reasons, why don't you discover the truth?

I'm so sick of you dumb fucks making shit up because reality doesn't fit your delusions.
