President Joe Biden reiterated his ire toward oil industry officials, verbally sparring with Chevron Corp. Chief Executive Officer Mike Wirth just days before administration officials and oil executives are set to discuss how to bring down gasoline prices.


Wirth earlier called on Biden to stop criticizing the oil and gas industry and for a “change in approach” toward US energy policy in a rare, candid letter published Tuesday. Biden responded by calling the executive “mildly sensitive” and telling reporters at a White House press conference, “I didn’t know they’d get their feelings hurt that quickly.”

Wirth will be one of several CEOs gathering with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm on June 23 in an attempt to develop policies that would help ease consumer pain at the pump. Hovering near $5 a gallon, the average price of gasoline has risen to the highest level on record and is a leading driver of inflation, posing a political problem for the administration with midterm elections just months away.

It's amazing and disgusting to hear Biden today bitching about the lack of oil refinery output, after telling the industry the moment he became president that they have a target on their backs. Perhaps, but you have to realize most people who vote Democrat are completely stupid. The commies have been trying to convince people Dementia has nothing to do with the price of fuel today, and this BS helps them believe it. They love these dog and pony shows.

On one hand they have a 1.2 trillion dollar "infrastructure" bill that's nothing more than pandering the to the enviro-kooks, and on the other hand he's not only pushing to get rid of the federal gasoline tax, but urging states to do the same which would deplete most road funding. But bringing down the cost of gasoline from $5.00 a gallon to $4.82 isn't going to help one family. If you fill up your vehicle with 25 gallons of gasoline, that would only be savings of $4.50, not even enough to buy a Big Mac sandwich.

Now the blame shift game. Dementia is blaming refining capability, the same refining capabilities Trump had when gasoline was $2.20 per gallon. Anybody in the oil industry has written that new refineries are impossible to erect due to all the environmental laws they'd have to abide by to build any. They wouldn't break even yet alone able to make a profit. Would Dementia ever suggest erasing all those billion dollar regulations? Not in your life.

Of course the oil execs are pissed. Dementia created a problem and trying to blame them for it.
