A danger that could create havoc the world over. The Bashear nuclear plant could effectively shut down most of the oil producing nations on the Persian Gulf.

There were some hits very close to that plant. And totally destroying all of Iran's infrastructure would put that plant one small step from catastrophe. The video never revealed the source of those hits.It APPEARS that our guys understand the potential catastrophe, and are staying clear of this target.
Thanks for posting this.
There is reason to build some plants, but that is very expensive electricity. Far less costly and much quicker to build wind and solar with storage backup. And by storage I mean battery, pumped hydro, and other means that are applicable to the geographic location. We should be expanding nuke power far and wide in the US.
This is one area where liberals are out to lunch. Yes there is some risk involved. I say have the US Navy manage all of the plants (new and existing) from stem to stern and get away from coal and oil energy production as fast as possible. Less wars in the middle east is a good thing; right?
And were it to happen, stupids like you will blame it on Biden. LOL After Fukushima and Chernobyl, hardly hysterical speculation.A danger that could create havoc the world over. The Bashear nuclear plant could effectively shut down most of the oil producing nations on the Persian Gulf.
Let us know when you have anything to post but hysterical speculation. THE SKY IS FALLING! LMAO. Put your tin hat on.
They cannot equal the capacity but are good back-up supplies. The only way forward is to replace coal, oil, LNG, with nuclear. There is reason to build some plants, but that is very expensive electricity. Far less costly and much quicker to build wind and solar with storage backup.
When I was in Japan, public sentiment was so opposed to anything nuclear that they would surround our base overnight if they even suspected we brought a nuclear device into the country. In 1971, with Nixon's approval they commissioned Fukushima. LOL, why are you pointing to the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters and not Three Mile Island which happened during nuclear-trained POTUS, Jimmie Carter. Is it because he is a democrat? Closer to your home, how about Hanford, such a success that decommissioning was. We are still paying for that. Who was POTUS in 1994? STFU.And were it to happen, stupids like you will blame it on Biden. LOL After Fukushima and Chernobyl, hardly hysterical speculation.
