Again, not every election is a national event. Local elections for school boards, city council, bond referendums, etc.... Seventeen votes (again, no way of knowing how much is actually out there) can swing small scale events. Therefore it needs to be eradicated. It has nothing to do with D's and R's but right and wrong.
