As for Hillary, she should have been locked up like Trump repeatedly said during his campaign. Instead, immediately after getting elected he actually said: "I have a lot of respect for those two" (speaking of the Clintons.) And then in later rallies, when people kept chanting "Lock her up!" he actually said (and this is on video) "Nahhh...that plays well BEFORE the election. Now? We don't care."

Anyone who would trust him after that is being willfully blind, and that is just one thing out of about 50,000 things I could bring up. But I don't have the time or desire to argue about Trump right now. I've already shared my thoughts on him tons of times.

In a more normal world, he would have been barred from running for office just for the things we have heard straight from his mouth and the things he has done.

But in this reality, too many Republican Senators need to kiss the ring to get re-elected. They basically admitted it, you know. Many of them. Words to the effect of, "Why impeach him, after he leaves office? It would only serve to divide our own electorate. Let the courts handle it."

No good argument against why he did not actually commit crimes rising to impeachment. For a reason. There weren't any.
