Boris Johnson wrong to claim crime has fallen, says watchdog

Boris Johnson was wrong to tell the Commons crime has fallen by 14%, the UK Statistics Authority says.

He has been claiming that crime has fallen overall by 14%. Well it has if you exclude most crime. In fact crime rose 14% over the last year and the ONS has spoken out regarding the lie.

He is being called Trumpian in the press these days. His lies are easily disproved and there is a distressing lack of shame that is a characteristic of sociopaths.

Half of his staff resigned yesterday and several due to his habitual lying. Most notably his repeating a right wing lie regarding Jimmy Saville and Keir Starmer.

Like in the US a lying crook is showing up the deficiencies in the British way of government. Changes will need to be made to a lot of things to make it fit for purpose.
