Odds and Your pick to win the 2025 World Series?

Forking Chapman lol! Loads em up then.....sucks the life out of NYC. That's baseball.....lol!

Boone back into the hot seat.

Can Boone survive another one?

I was all ready for "what is Mad Dog Mad about now" tomorrow.

"Pulling Fried at 100 pitches for $75million are they made outa glass Boone..can you help me here, for crying out loud".
It doesn’t make sense. I remember not too long though Clayton Kershaw,Pedro and other pitchers would throw 125 pitches in big games.

Great managing job by Alex Cora, keeping his starting pitcher Crotchet in the game late into the 8th. I think he threw around 115 pitches.

Well, congratulations to the Cleveland “guardians”…. 11 games back of the division lead at the beginning of September and they have pulled off the greatest division comeback in baseball history winning the Al central division today.

As for my picks to win the World Series. I’m thinking either the Philadelphia Phillies or the LA Dodgers. I don’t think an American League team can compete with those power houses. And it’s obviously been a disappointment for the Dodgers to not earn a first round bye….nevertheless they have a super strong lineup and their pitching is solid. In addition to their starting pitching They have a relief pitcher Roki Sasaki who looks very strong and is back from injury. I know the Brewers have had a great year, but they have struggled mightily in the postseason in the past eight years.

Anyways I have a number of bets going for the postseason . Including the Cleveland guardians at 180-1 to win the World Series, Cincinnati Reds at 150-1 to win the World Series, LA Dodgers at about 7-1 to win the World Series, and the Boston Red Sox at 40-1 to win the World Series…. I also have a parlay bet on the New York Yankees winning the American League and the Philadelphia Phillies winning the National League for about 45-1 odds.
GO PHILLIES!!

LA. Best team they ever bought. Are any impact players original drafted LA Dodgers? I'll wait.

Kiki hernandez...lol! nothing. Will Smith? Perhaps. The over'-rated manager? Could be a few.? Muncy? Yawning. Hardly impact.

All are store bought goods. Nothing made at home. Makes MLB hard to watch big market BS.

I’ve said this before I don’t like how the net goes all the way down the first and third base lines. Takes away the chance to catch foul balls and obstructs vision of the game . I know could be dangerous. Driving a car is much more dangerous though.

I’d love to go to a Cleveland game and sit above the third base dugout, but not with that net up there.
I don't see the net thing changing. I really don't like it either, but I've gotten used to it at games. Sort of like having a headache and getting distracted so you don't feel it. Well, something like that.

I observe that people don't pay attention during games. A fan has to be attentive on every single pitch. It's funny to see people react when a ball comes close. They wake up and pay attention for about 30 seconds. Then it's back to their phones and conversations.

Well, Betts, Hernandez, Ohtani, Freeman bought via big free agency signings. Not to mention the pictures Blake Snell, Glasgow and Yamamoto… also big name free agency signings

Muncy and Smith were brought up through the organization… and they are pretty darn good. And probably the greatest example of a talent that was brought up through the organization has to be Clayton Kershaw. He is arguably the greatest left hand or pitcher of our time. He’s obviously not what he used to be but a sure first ballot HOF.

Bottom line the dodgers have a huge payroll and the rules allow for it. So I suppose it is what it is.

Yes, that sums it up right. It wasn’t like this even 20 years ago I’d say. A lot of folks brought their mitts to the game back then …. Surely more did that compared to today.

Can still sit in the outfield though …. At least that’s where you have a chance to catch record-breaking home runs, which could be fun and lucrative.

How about the guardians and the Padres both forcing a game five. Let’s see if the Yankees will do that.

Well, here’s the benefit of a future bet when placed at the right time. I had the Cincinnati Reds to win the World Series. But I Cashed the bet out when they were losing 5-2 late in game two of the WC earlier this evening… I made a 10% profit on the bet.

Did the same with the ny Mets on Sunday.

Cincy did okay with runs, but this time their pitching fell apart. They really exposed the Dodgers. L.A. will need a lot of runs to move on, and I don't think they will get it

Well true to a big extent. The saving grace of the Dodgers bullpen is Sasaki …. The guy is looking great can hit 102 miles an hour. And has great movement on his splitter.

Exactly as I expected… the Red Sox boost their fans hopes with a game 1 victory, only to fizzle out in game 2 and set up another soul-crushing letdown tonight and early exit from the playoffs.

they are capable of beating the yankees ....so far judge hasnt showed up....

Jose Ramirez does what he does best. Bottom of the fourth Cleveland is down 1-0 and he gets the game tying RBI on a full count with the pitch was out of the zone…. heck of a hit there

down 6-1 7th inning....it seems like the tigers from the first half of the season showed up and the guardians from the first half also showed up....

It's only game one with six outs to go but so far so good.

Yankees are in trouble. Let’s see if they can make a big comeback.
