Odd food combos that you like

I drink Crown and Coke on occasion or Wild Turkey 101 and Seven-Up. Neither very often. I am more inclined to drink Zombies--makes a pitcher. One oz each of light rum, dark rum (Meyers), anejo rum, apricot flavored brandy, and lime juice, 6 oz. pineapple juice, 8 oz. OJ in a tall glass over ice with grenadine and a 151 rum float. Makes about four drinks. MMM slurp.

I would absolutely try that.

It's becoming a bit more common, but several places in my area serve a hamburger with peanut butter. I am a huge fan.

I was out of rum and sweet and sour. It's pretty good without them.

Applesauce and Crackers.

When I was 4 or 5 this older couple across the street used to watch me while mom was at work. About the only thing I remember of them was they gave me applesauce and saltines for a snack.

Of course my tastes are more refined now so it's applesauce and Club crackers.

You're supposed to eat soda crackers by themselves; adding anything to them ruins them.

There's a very obscure food in the southeastern corner of South Dakota called chislic. It's basically skewered, seasoned meat, deep fried. It's often served with saltines. Tavern food.
