Ariana Grande receives criticism after security footage of her in a store briefly licking a doughnut and saying "I hate America" surfaces. She later apologized and said that she was trying to make a statement on childhood obesity.

The cause of obesity is psychological. The reason it is so difficult to correct is that it is psychological.

I never saw a fat Arab until they got fast food and KFC, pizza and cheese burgers.
The standard American diet is the single best weapon we have ever used to kill our enemies the catch is it kills our friends too

Obesity is caused by consuming (waaaay) more calories than are metabolized.

It's not only a health problem, it's effecting climate change. :omg:

It's a complicated subject.

If I were to give someone simplified advice on how to lose weight, I'd say, "cut down on sugar, heavy carbs, late snacks and keep moving".

Most obese people don't actually make the connection between food and obesity. It's one of those self-delusion things.

More calories in than necessary equals weight gain. Inability to control that is psychological.

Yes I think that is the main thing. Very tasty and as such addictive but very fattening. Sugar is now believed to be a top one for heart disease. Corn oil also is more prone to make you fat and as people have said fizzy drinks but the main thing seems to be that people are encouraged to eat fast food which is addictive though not good for your body. I heard a doctor saying we can no longer blame the person for being fat. It is part of modern society.

Our food is full of so much processed crap. Corn syrup is in everything. Even products that appear to be low cal or healthy are just processed garbage. No wonder everyone is so big
