Obama: " We Can’t Suggest that Islam is at the Root of the Problem"

"Let’s start with this fact: For more than a thousand years, people have been drawn to Islam’s message of peace," Obama declared in a
mosque affiliated with ISNA, an organization with a history of terror ties.
A few problems with Obama's "fact".
1. Islam doesn't have a message of peace
2. People weren't "drawn" to it, they were conquered, colonized, subjugated and persecuted until they converted to Islam.
"And the very word itself, Islam, comes from salam -- peace."
Try submission. Peace in Islam does not mean coexistence. It means the submission of non-Muslims and Muslims to Islamic authority. Peace in Islam means theocracy.
That is why Mohammed's message to non-Muslims was
Aslim, Taslam. Roughly rendered, "Become a Muslim and you'll be left in peace". Don't, and we'll chop your head off, rape your women and do all that other "Non-Islamic" stuff that ISIS and their Prophet Mohammed did.
The world’s 1.6 billion Muslims are as diverse as humanity itself.
Humanity consists of various religions. Islam only tolerates one religion... killing and oppressing non-Muslims. Please tell us how diverse Saudi Arabia is again.
“O mankind,” the Koran teaches, we have “made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another.” (Applause.) So all of us have the task of expressing our religious faith in a way that seeks to build bridges rather than to divide.
If Barack Hussein Obama would care to keep reading the section of the Koran he just quoted, the verse after the next tells Muslims, "The faithful are only those who have attained faith in Allah and His Apostle and then have never doubted, and who wage jihad with their possessions and their persons in the way of Allah."
You know, "peaceful" Jihad which involves spreading peace by killing non-Muslims.
...
So what did the president do?
“As he has done so many times in the past, he decided to ignore this evidence and still continue his plans to confer legitimacy on a mosque that has a history of having officials connected to Islamic terrorism and to this day still has officials making outrageously pro-terrorist statements that would seem to conflict with the president’s policies,” Emerson said.
It's a fact.
