At the time she retired she was a system analyst whose position included hiring staff for her department and when necessary, terminating employees as well. The abysmal lack of knowledge of most of the racists commenting here on their own history in our country and who are completely ignorant of the fact that it's the laws of the land that enforced and still enforces how your stacked deck produces the results that you all want to take credit for as if that's some sort of indication of superiority. I do suspect however that some can sense that the winds are changing and are worried that they may soon be subjected to the same "kindnesses" that they have shown others. So take a situation where a voice call on a SIP network does not work correctly. Depending on the symptoms I track the call via error logging from originating device to the sip trunk my gateway connects to with the service provider. In real world conditions no one calls the service provider and tells them something is wrong please fix it. The first thing they will say is it isnt their issue. You have to prove its their issue.

Ok, for all of you that are STILL pissed about the Zimmerman verdict....let me tell you what happened to me in January of 1986.
I was working in the cafeteria washing dishes part-time at High Plains Baptist Hospital while I was in Tech school. Amarillo Catholic Services had sponsored a bunch of Laotians that were new to the states. The hospital hired this one young man from Laos that was one creepy little fuck. He took a liking to a young lady from Iowa that was going to school at West Texas State. He would brush up against her every chance he got and in broken English would often ask her to give him a ride home because he had to take the bus.... that would come by in FRONT of the hospital.....this detail is important, so file it away.
The young lady was friend of mine and she confided in me that she was really uncomfortable with the way he acted but didn't want to report him to our supervisor because she didn't want him to get fired...she just wanted him to leave her alone. I said I would try and talk to him but if that didn't work, I would report him myself. I found a moment where I could talk to him without anyone else around. I discreetly pointed to the young lady and told him "You see her? She doesn't want you to touch her...not ever...she doesn't want to give you a ride.....she wants YOU to leave her alone.....do you understand"? He looked at me with blank, cold eyes and picked up a hot plate and acted like he was going to hit me with it. I grabbed his wrist and told him that I wasn't willing to lose my job by kicking his ass here, but if he wanted to continue this conversation, we could do it at the end of our shift. He chilled out and I went about doing my job.
Three hours later, I clocked out and went out to the employee parking lot which was in the back of the hospital. I had taken about thirty steps towards my car when I heard someone walking out that door behind me. I turned around and it was the guy I had confronted and he was walking towards me with a purpose. I walked back towards him because I knew why he was there. I got within 5 feet of him when he pulled out a butterfly knife and stabbed me in the stomach. My adrenaline was flowing and I didn't even realize how bad I was hurt. I beat the ever loving crap out of him and while I was doing so, he thrashed around with the knife and stabbed me in the left thigh left just barely missing a crucial artery. Had I not been in a hospital parking lot, I would have bled out before I could have gotten to an emergency room. He was arrested but wasn't charged because he was smaller than me and was beaten up. I spent 4 hours having my stomach and thigh muscle sown up before they could even start on stitching up the skin. The D.A refused the case because it wasn't one they thought they could win. According to them, I brought this all on myself for walking back to my attacker...much like Trayvon Martin did...so for all of you that are weeping teeny tiny tears about the verdict? STFU...the law is what it is. No one organized marches or protests on my behalf and nor I did I ask for one. The law is what it is and things are what they are. Take out the emotion and deal with what is.....
