One of the great things that has come out of the 4 year depression created by Obama is that the left has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they truly are ignorant. They are ignorant of the facts. They are ignorant of reality. They eschew all of that for their ideology.
In his first two years, Obama had full dictatorial powers. He had a super majority in both the House and the Senate, and as such, he got 100% of the bills he wanted. That's right, 100%. Not one was shot down. Lets just take a very short, quick recap on liberal failure at its "finest":
Obama claims that healthcare is to blame for our economy. Says that we can't keep pace with the rising costs and that too many are uninsured, causing even higher prices. Enter......Obamacare! Obama and the dumbocrats "promise" it will cost $900 billion. The latest projections by the CBO now have it at a staggering $2.6 trillion. The only thing rising more than healthcare costs is unconstitutional government spending. Furthermore, because of the costs created by the idiot dumbocrats like Obama, millions and millions who were previously insured are now
losing their insurance. He said we needed this because so many were uninsured. Instead of solving that, he created
more uninsured (typical of the dumbocrats).
Next, Obama claims that we are at the cusp of an economic crisis, and only his "stimulus package" can solve the issue. After unconstitutionally tossing around nearly a $1 trillion in waste and fraud, and after promising this package would ensure that unemployment would never reach 8%, it actually skyrockets to nearly 11% thanks to incompetent leadership. How could anyone have projections that were so shockingly inaccurate? How can anyone be off by 30
million people?!?
After that, rather than studying the data, accepting fact, and changing course based on reality, Obama doubles-down on his (ignorant) ideology and gives us....the Omnibus bill! Yeah for more debt and unconstitutional spending, which does nothing!
Sadly, after that failed, Obama once again ignored facts and reality for ideology, and tripled-down on his stupidity with a THIRD round of stimulus spending.
Next, Obama said that the economy would never really be fixed until we regulated the issues on Wall Street (which he falsely claimed were the cause..... well, that and of course...Bush!). So we ended up with the "brilliant" Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (I just LOVE that name - "Consumer PROTECTION"... riiiiiiiiight. Because I need government to "protect" me from my own purchases). And, just like Obamacare, instead of solving the problem he claimed existed, he actually created the problem. Before the Dodd-Frank nightmare, we had free checking. Now, thanks to the government telling banks they may no longer charge certain fees, the banks have been forced to make up that gap by charging for bank accounts. Oh, except (of course) if you carry a very large balance, such as a Bill Gates. So the people who can easily afford it, don't get hit by the fees. While the minimum wage worker he can't afford it, gets hit with the fees. And Obama & the dumbocrats claim they are for the little person?
These (and many more) glaring illustrations of economic incompetence have clearly illustrated the left's complete and total ignorance of basic economics. They have no plan for the economy, just a plan to redistrubute wealth and implement communism. They have no policies which further the growth of the economy, just policies to punish the wealthy workers and reward the lazy through marxism.
And don't forget kids, despite having 100% of his bills passed which he swore would "fix" the economy, when asked what happened, just be sure to blame......BUSH (I know, it makes no sense, but just go with it - just because we've had 4 years of every bill which Obama swore would solve our problems, doesn't mean we should hold him responsible).
