Of course, when a place like Target then shuts down stores in the area due to theft and the chance of violence the same people will be mad at them for doing so.

Target has a substantial food section and is almost a full supermarket, something people on the left demand constantly in bad neighborhoods.

And talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Fully 60% of SNAP takers report buying food at Target, so obviously Target has been willing to open stores where there are a lot of welfare people.
