If it wasn't for being a Sanctuary City, they could get Federal help from ICE, along with Homeland Security and maybe US Marshals and FBI, but nope, is a Sanctuary City. I guess they'll have to suck it up and let it be their doctors and nurses problem. Good luck to women in the medical profession there.

Where is all the crime by illegal immigrants, compared to crime by Americans?

The immigrants are being rewarded because of social responsibility, while Americans are being punished for what the system has made them.

The numbers coming across the border will not stay in any single state. They will spread out to larger cities first, then eventually to every part of the country. The Left in general is actively taking this nation down from within. Those who can't see this will suffer just like the rest of us. My part of the Alabama Gulf Coast has always been welcoming of immigrants but this new wave will not be given that pass. All it will take is an increase in crime by Hispanics who are identified as illegals and things could easily get ugly.
