Some guy shining shoes in Penn Station (which, thanks to DiBlasio, has now become one great big urinal for the homeless) likely doesn't have the intellectual fortitude to handle the responsibilities of someone who sits in a corner office on Wall Street.

The guy with the corner office has his comfortable salary, paid vacation and PTO, etc. He doesn't need to get back to the office as much as the owner of some bodega who hasn't seen black ink in over a year...

The issue he was dealing with was trying to get white collar people back into their offices, to support the working people in the service industries he was talking about. His point was many lower skilled/paying jobs don't allow you to work from home, like many office jobs do.

But man did he say it fucking poorly.

And Man, is the new Manhattan DA making getting people to come back a big problem.
