So, a real friendly Greek guy from Jersey always hangs out in Pawling taverns.

He grew up in NYC, and then close by in Jersey.

He said NYC used to be horrible, he caught someone stuck a knife through the window of his car, another person chased him in a car with a gun, and other stuff.

Now, this was actually MANHATTAN in the 1980's, including Times Square.

So, it's totally true NYC has turned around, there's no way it's just "Less crimes being actually reported" but Guliani's era did turn around NYC.

Now, I can only imagine what RACE of people were sticking knives through people's windows who drove by, or chased them with guns in cars?????

Geez, if you wanna guess race? I'd say Jews, Italians, and Puerto-Ricans. Probably some black and white, too.

This about sums that one up.
