It's not just "other ideas" though, people simply want temperance. As you rightly stated, regulation is a critical component of capitalism.
For too long we've had reckless capitalism on steroids, at the expense of everything else and everyone. This mindset is coming to an end.
I gotta say. It looked like the United Nations there on their roads and toll roads that cost an arm and a leg and in typical government fashion are not maintained. It was like being forced to go on a jerky carnival ride and being tossed around like a ragdoll with criminal-looking people on the ride with you all scowling and looking like they would kill you in a New York minute.New Yorkers are not very friendly.
I'm not the dolt that thinks muslims support gays and trannies, that would be you.![]()
Precisely.I'm a comfy capitalist, but the big mistake the Right makes is to think that regulation is the bane of capitalism. The fact is, smart and efficient regulation is a critical component of capitalism. Without it, not only do you get increasing wealth disparities, you get disasters like the 2008 Meltdown.
Then, yeah, people start looking for other ideas. So it's just a self-inflicted wound.
Nah, the left is a bunch of cannibals, they eat their own.If the commies hate him, and the oligarchs hate him, he may be doing something right.
Mr. Mamdani is a Ugandan citizen, and polls indicate that the Uganda people oppose homosexuality by a 96-4% margin.
The 2023 law that the Uganda parliament passed to crack down on the practice is very popular.

In Santa Monica Calif they had a bunch of left-wing elitists in control there in 1979 and instituted rent controls mainly because that city is very wealthy and close to the beach. Naturally, rents were high and that wasn't right. Poor people should also be close to the beach. So, what happened is no one ever moved. That meant the owners couldn't increase rents to market value. Of course, investors saw what was happening and no investor built any apartment buildings anymore. The result? A shortage of rentals in Santa Monica.Yeah, by telling businesses and property owners they can only charge what the city approves. I wish them luck.
The left was responsible for the 2008 meltdown for essentially deregulating the housing market years before. A liberal’s heart is far bigger than their brain.

What's an "empty suit?"Does his name matter?
He is just an empty suit Muslim socialist that was put there because NYC allows illegals to now vote
This election is the model playbook for the entire country.
Even Bill Clinton supported him, which begs the question, should the DNC now unapologetically announce they are all socialists?
Winner. Those fools (led by Barney Frank) thought it was a good idea to force banks to make loans to people who would never be able to pay them back. After all, not doing so would be racist. The left was responsible for the 2008 meltdown for essentially deregulating the housing market years before. A liberal’s heart is far bigger than their brain.
Not to worry.
All those who finally see their lives degrade into slum status will simply move to places run by Conservatives, and quickly replace all the conservatives so that their new area can be more diverse, equitable, pedo friendly, easy gender changes for minors and well....just like the place they ran from. (Isn't this already the reality?)
And as always, passive conservatives will oblige them every step of the way. So all is great!
If we were brutally honest with ourselves this would be indisputable.

What ideas are those? List them.In reality, NYC has increasingly applied your ideas for the past fifty years. The results are to be expected.
Most rheterical. Will the Democrats learn anything here?

What's wrong w/that idea?Government supermarkets to start. The peasants will pay for that.
