Sudipt Deshmukh, 55, of Pittsford, was charged with second-degree manslaughter, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree health care fraud and six counts of criminal sale of a prescription, the attorney general’s office said.
....Among the drugs Deshmukh prescribed the patient were hydrocodone, oxycodone, Xanax and carisoprodol, a group referred to as the “holy trinity,” prosecutors said
According to prosecutors the combination was infamous in the medical community because it was widely known that those struggling with addiction would use the drugs to increase their high despite the risks to their lives.
