NRA spends more money lobbying Texas legislators than in any other state

You're FOS...........It figures.
1. World War II: $4.69T
2. Iraq War: $1.01T
3. War in Afghanistan: $910.47B
4. Vietnam War: $843.63B
5. Korean War: $398.81B
6. World War I: $381.8B
7. Persian Gulf War: $116.6B
8. Civil War: Union: $68.17B
9. Civil War: Confederacy: $22.99B
10. Spanish American War: $10.33B

It was republicans and democrats that have gotten us into every war since the revolution.. What does that tell you about both parties?
It's been the R & D's that have borrowed and spent us into oblivion since the Fed Res. Act was signed into law.
It was the R & D's that have over inflated our USD until American manufacturers have been forced to outsource jobs to other countries.
I could go on and on and on with what the R & D's have done to destroy this country. But it would be futile. There's just way too many party loyalist who let fear drive their votes and keep electing the same BS politicians into office.

We'll never get any decent leadership in this country until you party loyalist finally figure this out. It'll always be the Bidens, Trumps, Obama's, Bush type politicians.

Lobbying is protected under the 1st Amendment. It's how dozens, hundreds, thousands or millions of people can join together to take our issues to congress or the president.

I honestly don't see a way around it without a constitutional amendment and that would never pass.

Lobbyist are EXACTLY why we're not longer an actual republic. They OWN our politicians.

Because for last 5 Election cycles the Democommies have had a huge uncut BBC Hard on to turn Texas Purple

It's a two party system. All states will change colors eventually. Some will just take longer than others.

Yep New Mexico & Colorado will be Red Again

And then they'll go back to being blue, then red, then blue. California will go red, eventually. Seems odd to say that. Almost impossible. But it'll happen.

Then amend the constitution such that no money may be donated to any political campaign that doesn't come directly from a voter.

Make it then illegal for any politician to contact anyone except those who are their constituents.

Do you see how quickly this becomes ridiculous?

Amending the constitution how? Only the government can do that. And the ones we have elected won't even vote for term limits. You think it's possible to get them to cut off their biggest donors? Seriously?

That's the whole point.

Whether we like it or not there's really nothing we can do about it.

We all have special interest/lobbying groups that we support either in principle or financially or both.

Freedom is messy and it means lots of people get to do things we don't like.

There's a solution. But getting to the solution is the impossible task. I think voting out all incumbents for the next three elections. Mid term, General & mid term.

And replacing them with Fiscal conservatives.

But how do you get 34% of the voting public to stop being party loyalist and learn who and what a fiscal conservative is. Most people think Republican are automatically conservative.

Can't stand lobbyists? Either you are ignorant in the traditional sense or you are a freaking hypocrite. We are all lobbyists from the extremely powerful green agenda to PETA to the save the whales to anti-nukes to BLM to the fund to save the Ukraine. Only a freaking leftie afflicted with TDS would claim to hate lobbyists.

Sure, you fucking retard.
The September 11 attacks, commonly known as 9/11, were a series of four coordinated suicide terrorist attacks carried out by the militant Islamic extremist network al-Qaeda against the United States. On the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, nineteen terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners mid-flight while traveling from the northeastern U.S. to California.

It didn't take 2 months for republicans to institute the un"Patriot Act".

The USA Patriot Act of 2001 was passed just 45 days after the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001.

The act gives federal officials sweeping and expanded authority to track and intercept communications for law enforcement and intelligence-gathering purposes. It provides law enforcement with investigatory tools for the purpose of deterring and punishing acts of terrorism within the United States and abroad.
Nice try...the Patriot act was 100% bipartisan!
