NRA claims ‘massive Obama conspiracy’ not to ban guns

In the light of SCOTUS's activist Second Amendment jurisprudence over the past few years, about the only thing left for the NRA to argue in favor of is why people should be allowed to own full automatics and rocket launchers. Since that sounds crazy to even a lot of people on their own side, they've got to come up with junk like this to remain somewhat relevant.

Yes, it brings in money from the brain dead....I am a member of the NRA, but I throw that shit away....or start my neighborhood bon fires with it.

I remember once as a teenager getting a call from them. They meant to call my uncle who lived next door. It all about how the Democrats were in league with the UN to take everyone's guns and send "real, patriotic Americans" to concentration camps. I think part of my soul died that day.
Can't wait to see some con try to rationalize that.

yeah, they'd never do that.

I'm guessing that call came recently??

NRA claims ‘massive Obama conspiracy’ not to ban guns*|*Raw Replay

You just can’t please some people.

In the eyes of National Rifle Association (NRA) executive vice president Wayne LaPierre, President Barack Obama’s decision not to pursue gun control legislation is a “massive conspiracy,” and just another reason not to give him a second term.

“[The Obama campaign] will say gun owners — they’ll say they left them alone,” LaPierre told an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Friday. “In public, he’ll remind us that he’s put off calls from his party to renew the Clinton [assault weapons] ban, he hasn’t pushed for new gun control laws… The president will offer the Second Amendment lip service and hit the campaign trail saying he’s actually been good for the Second Amendment.”

“But it’s a big fat stinking lie!” the NRA leader exclaimed. “It’s all part of a massive Obama conspiracy to deceive voters and destroy the Second Amendment in our country.”

“Obama himself is no fool. So when he got elected, they concocted a scheme to stay away from the gun issue, lull gun owners to sleep and play us for fools in 2012. Well, gun owners are not fools and we are not fooled,” La Pierre declared.

<more>

Did he get rid of any of the laws that restrict our right to bear arms?

no, no he did not.

so fuck him.

December 7, 2011 1:44 PM PrintText Documents: ATF used "Fast and Furious" to make the case for gun regulations

. (Credit: CBS) Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.

In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the "big fish." But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called "gunwalking," and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

ATF officials didn't intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called "Demand Letter 3". That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or "long guns." Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.

On July 14, 2010 after ATF headquarters in Washington D.C. received an update on Fast and Furious, ATF Field Ops Assistant Director Mark Chait emailed Bill Newell, ATF's Phoenix Special Agent in Charge of Fast and Furious:

"Bill - can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same (licensed gun dealer) and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks."

Obummer is a Communist he wants that change for us so disarming is part of the plan but the criminal game he wanted to play blew up on him. Do not pass go do not collect $200
:eusa_whistle:

Jeezuz, what the fuck do you think Fast and Furious was really about? It had less to do with drug cartels than it did about trying to show our 'lax' gun laws were to blame for the massacres of hundreds, if not thousands, in Mexico.

Talk about fucking dupes, you people take the damned cake!!
Exactly the same bullshit La Pierre fed his members. A sucker born every minute.

Really I must say thank you for the laugh it felt good.

Heaven fuking forbid that gun control of any sort be discussed.

But go ahead and name the gun control legislation proposed and passed by the Obama admin.
(here is a hint; there isn't any. But that is the plan. No gun control plan is the plan to take away your guns.) Very clever of them. But you all are on to them now.

ANd did you know that they track the gun nuts on the web. And it will be your house they show up at first. I will watch the news to see the shoot out. Should be one way to thin the ranks of the obsessed and deranged gun nuts of the Rethug party.

And I hate to tell you but the Attorney General is the AG for all Americans. Not just the gun nuts.

I guess you didn't bother to read the documentation provided that PROVES the Feds wanted to use F & F to further restrict gun sales, huh?

I bet that makes you feel pretty stupid, IF you have enough operative brain cells to think about it...
