NPR simply explains why the NY Post/Hunter Biden story is full of holes and un-reportable to them.
All I can say is that is what they see as a non-story. Too many red flags.
"Supporters of President Donald Trump were hoping that a New York Post report on a hard drive allegedly belonging to former Vice President Joe Bidenās son, Hunter Biden, would be the āOctober surpriseā that doomed the older Democratsā presidential campaign. But Biden voters appear unfazed by the Postās highly questionable story: Biden is still leading in many national and state polls. And National Public Radio is among the media outlets that has refused to take the smear campaign of the Bidens seriously."
"McBride added that the ābiggest reason you havenāt heard much on NPR about the Post story is that the assertions donāt amount to much.ā And she quotes Terence Samuel, NPRās managing new editor, as saying, āWe donāt want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we donāt want to waste the listenersā and readersā time on stories that are just pure distractions. And quite frankly, thatās where we ended up. This wasā¦. a politically driven event, and we decided to treat it that way.ā
