The FBI has the original computer. It would be child's play for them to determine if it had been tampered with. There also seem to be multiple copies of the hard drive in circulation. Comparing them with the original STILL installed in the computer would put any reasonable suspicions of tampering to rest.

He's now ADMITTING it's his laptop and trying to get charges placed against anyone releasing the information on it. If it wasn't his and the information on it hadn't belonged to him, he wouldn't be trying to block the publication of the information. If someone has a computer that they claim was mine and it wasn't, I, 1) wouldn't care if the published any information that was on it and 2) I certainly wouldn't have any legal right to block the release of the information or have anyone who released the information punished by the government.

We do not know what is on the laptop, although some pretend to know.

Hunter Biden is a non-elected, public citizen who has never served in government in any capacity.
