If you placed side by side county-level maps of the highest US homicide rates to county-level maps of the 2020 election results, they're virtually the same.

"The worst 31 counties — generally urban jurisdictions — have about a fifth of the country’s population but accounted for 42% of the country’s homicides in 2020, said John R. Lott Jr., president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, which conducted the study.

The worst 5% of counties accounted for 73% of homicides. That ticked up slightly from 69% in 2014 and 70% in 2016.

Meanwhile, 52% of counties recorded no homicides in 2020, and another 16% recorded only a single killing."

Brace yourself for the looney left calling you racist.

In the OP's maps, in the TX panhandle, there is a pink square (Amarillo) and a red square (Lubbock). Both places voted overwhelmingly for Trump and for the Republicans (I know, I lived in Amarillo for over 20 years and was there during the elections) but they have the highest homicide rates in that area of TX. So, no.................where the homicides are ISN'T always in Democrat run places.

It's sad when visiting Mexico cartel territory is safer than Dem run counties in the U.S.

It's sad when you've been so brainwashed that you believe the bullshit you just posted, and point fingers.

States stop investing in cities as soon as middle class white people move out. Crime is a result of poverty, so what your post is saying is that poor cities have higher crime rates. When Democrats take over the cities, states stop investing in the infrastructure, education, jobs and amenities for the cities and focus on providing for the growth of the suburbs.

But your handlers blame democrats and minorities. And you're gullible enough to believe their bullshit.

TAKE NOTE PEOPLE……The loons always fabricate bullshit that only seems reasonable in their tiny little fucked up heads and within their twisted as fuck twilight zone type echo chambers.
There’s very little crime in all white, extremely poor Appalachia….this is no coincidence.
but but but….”OUR DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTH!”

"There's not much violent crime here. There's a bit of the usual enterprise one finds everywhere there are drugs and poor people, which is to say, everywhere. But even the crime here is pretty well predictable. The police chief's assistant notes that if they know the nature and location of a particular crime, they can more or less drive straight to the perpetrator.

There's a great deal of drug use, welfare fraud, and the like, but the overall crime rate throughout Appalachia is about two thirds the national average, and the rate of violent crime is half the national average."

Appalachia: The big white ghetto

In Appalachia, jobs have vanished, and people live for pills, soda pop, and welfare
