There was no genocide. There were a series of wars that the Indians lost. The Whites could have exterminated them and chose not to. If the shoe had been on the other foot, according to their history, the Indians would have committed genocide on the Whites. That was the pattern of the warlike tribes, defeated enemy males were killed and women were raped to death or enslaved along with older children and younger children were adopted into the conquering tribe. That FACT is both history and anecdotal evidence from my Comanche great-grandmother. The Whites WERE the good guys (as good guys went back then), NOT the Indians.
