I'm new here as of today but have been discussing politics online since 2008. Yeah, I'm an oldie but goodie, and the latter is not up for debate.

Hope to learn something new. As they say, take what you can and leave the rest behind. What I aim to do.

Kind of a corny Nic and avatar, but after recently doing 23 and me, I found I have lots of Viking blood, and am over eighty percent Irish. I guess that means I'm tenacious as well as proud of me heritage.

At any rate, enough about me. Time to learn about you. Note, I take no prisoners, and don't suffer fools who resort to ad hominem fallacy lightly.

Well welcome to USMB. With fresh batteries in your bullsh*t detector, a bullet proof vest and maybe a chastity belt, and you should be good to go. Seriously there are some very good people here, some who are interested in intelligent give and take conversation and as well as those who don't seem to understand that concept. But for those willing to look for it, it can be a good place to be.
