Former officer Michael Slager makes own plea for bail as judge again holds back decision

Things are speeding up in this case. Today at Bond Court...lawyers again traded statements. The judge didn't make a bail decision yet. But...he said he wants to set a trial date. And the solicitor messed up. She said she also has to prepare for the July 2016 trial of Dylann Roof, AME shooter. She said she will be busy....and will be ready for trial around Winter 2016. Defense immediately said they'll be ready by spring. Hello "speedy trial" violation....oops!! She never should've been first to offer a time....defense will automatically say they are ready much sooner and probably request a change of venue to the more conservative upstate SC since "this solicitor is too busy worrying about the Dylann Roof case to give Mr. Slager a fair and speedy trial".

Won't get it dismissed obviously....but 1 more straw on the camels back. He's laying groundwork to get it moved to much more conservative Greenville County in the upstate I'd guess.

This lawyer is playing her like a fiddle.

Either way he is a dead cracker walking , he should get it just like he gave
