The idea that either the Republican Party or the Democratic Party gives a flying hoot about those Syrian and other Middle Eastern refugees is a total load of crap. The humanitarian b.s. is for public consumption and propaganda purposes only and will be broadcast over and over with thousands of feet of news footage depicting the horrible plight of these refugees.

The adults out there should by now realize this only means a new influx of voters for the Democratic Party and a new influx of cheap labor for wealth Republican business owner donors. There is no two-party system in America today. There is only the Washington Establishment Crowd. The Republicans in Washington could care less if the never win a Presidential election. The simple truth is they are career Congressmen and women are are perfectly happy to retire as such.

And there is the problem.

Our "leaders" are paid of by, and significantly influenced by, donors.

They also have a clear advantage in the re-election process, and the naive notion that they can be term-limited by the vote is silly.

Strict, short term limits, publicly-funded elections, and this changes overnight. Add on a Balanced Budget Amendment to force both thug parties to justify their taxing, spending and priorities, and we're getting somewhere.

Indeed. Congress is the ideal job for a politician. Congress raises its own salaries whenever they wish. They also opt out of any law or tax they impose on the people that they wish, such as their opting out of getting their own insurance off the Obamacare exchanges. They seem to take about as many breaks as the Obama family takes vacations. If they want to travel back home, all they have to do is call the military and demand an aircraft be available at their disposal or even travel overseas on the taxpayers' dime. Why should a Congressman or Congresswoman even entertain the idea of running for President and face all the hassles of that office?

All this infighting between the parties is theatre.
