The internet.

Normies ruined the internet, even the creator of the internet Tim Berners-Lee is pissed off at the current internet and wants to make a new internet. So what does that tell you?

Television.

I mean, like turn to some channel like TLC or the History Channel and you get reality shows which don't even have to do with education. I mean, like what does Ice road truckers or Pawnstars even have to do with history?

video gaming.

I remember back in the days when someone found out that someone played video games they were like "that guy plays video games, stay away from him" But now video games are mainstream and dumbed down for the masses.

Nerd culture.

I remember back in the days when it was like "that kid is eating nerds candy, they must be a nerd"
But now being a nerd has become mainstream and like commercialised and the very people who would beat the crap out of me for reading stuff like Dragonlance are now calling themselves nerds.

I never grew up on video games, or hell, even internet until I was 15. I lived a very sheltered life. Because of that, if I see something weird, I'll call it weird, and if I don't like it, I'll let you know.

I'm nerdy in my own ways, because of what I collect, and what I enjoy watching and learning about.

I've never heard of dragonlace, but it sounds like some nerd shit.

It was nerd stuff.

Was really 80s.

Has much stuff in it that is really controversal now.

Like has a race of Dwarves that could be seen as making fun of those with intellectual disabilities and such and one of the main characters looks like a Native American.

I see a wide range of definitions for "Normie". How do you define "Normie"?

Yeah I kind of miss the old internet. Making it user friendly made it boring. In the old days you never know what wonders and terrors the next link was going to bring. Anyone ever fuck up and click on "lemon party"?

Which reminds me, I have to get back to my dumbed down video game.

Goatse did it for me and a pick from rottendotcom
By the time goatse came along I was a little less shockable. I think I happened upon lemon party the first week I had a computer. I thought my computer was permanently fucked because I didn't know how to get rid of it.

I can understand why new things are made, but in the end, they eventually will end up just like everything else once the secret is out about them: overused I guess would be the word to use.

God bless you always!!!
