Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said she planned to “eliminate” the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) during a televised Cabinet meeting Monday.

While giving a status report on border security, Noem added, “and we’re going to eliminate FEMA.” She did not elaborate.


“That’s great. Great job,” President Trump said — appearing to respond to her broader status update.

Trump has been highly critical of the emergency management agency, having suggested in the past that he would consider cutting it.

“I’ll also be signing an executive order to begin the process of fundamentally reforming and overhauling FEMA, or maybe getting rid of FEMA. I think, frankly, FEMA’s not good,” Trump said in January.

FEMA turned out to be an extension for the left to fund illegals.
FEMA kind of dragged their feet with helping NC residents when they needed it the most.
There are other agencies that can pick up the duties of FEMA.
It started out as a noble agency when it was an agency of it's own.
But, then it was thrown into a stew of 22 other agencies and called it Homeland Security.
This is where funding and disbursement of those funds got murky. IMO

Fema comes in with nothing. In fact, they don't even come in. What FEMA offers is apply online (if you can find a computer that works) and give them an address to send you $700.00 check to. That's what they do. Who comes in with resources? Samaritan's Purse comes with supplies and heavy equipment. The Cajun Navy handles rescues. Elon Musk sets up Starlink. In North Carolina, the Amish brought supplies by mule and rescued survivors, by mule. FEMA did nothing, at all, except remind people about the website where they can apply for their $700.00. Oh an in East Palestine, they got NOTHING. When shitstain obama was president and Texas needed help with tornadoes, the brown stain turned them down FLAT. They got NOTHING. Private individuals and private charities (that would be the rich paying a fair share) took care of everything.

FEMA is an agency that provides jobs for FEMA workers and that's all it is. Shut it down as a waste.
