Whoever did it, China reaps the benefits and likely forever. China is taking every drop that Russia can produce.

The big question now becomes, will China avoid a direct economic war with America, to avoid a military war with America?

Or will America come to realize that winning wars is a thing of the past?

America is faced with the decision of escalating military action against China that will produce the predicted China, Russia/Brics military alliance as well as the economics alliance.

We have the workers. The jobs not so much, largely due to the anti company rhetoric of the unions. Mfrs. have been targeted--often unfairly, for a litany of offenses and accused of not paying living wages. The American factory worker is paid better than any other group in the world. Wages and benefits are unparalleled. The American worker has put him/herself out of a job. When it became more economically feasible to purchase a machine that did the job of ten workers with no wages, benefits, injuries and lawsuits the employers just did what any thinking human would do and maximized their bottom line. Until America competes again we will see these problems. The auto industry learned this when the Japanese started slapping the big 3 around in the 70s. American auto companies started responding to the competition and produced a superior product although it didn't take long for foreign auto makers to discover that they could produce their product in the US and compete on the same playing field. I realize this explanation is simplistic and the problem has many more aspects affecting it--some that everyone knows--immigration, domestic discord, etc., but this is one of the many elephants in the room.

The industrial revolution bought time for America as China was catching up, but China has caught up and time has expired.

When economic competition no longer works, military competition fills the void.

Except in this 21st. century where no country gets to win without losing so big!

You're a moron duck. What happens when you quit working and producing? You have no income. If you have no income, what do you purchase with? There is no difference when it is a country that quits producing--like Canada and the US--they have nothing to purchase with.
