You refuse to cite your sources unless you admit you simply make it up. What you tell is not remotely close to being true. Franks told Bush to keep out of his war that Franks knew just what to do. Bush said go for it.
When Franks created the plan, and credit goes to all of his staff, using Franks ideas, the plan was to change Afghanistan from a Taliban run country to one run by the Afghanistan's who were considered decent men and leaders. Franks did not entertain the idea our military would hang around and once the Taliban went to Pakistan, Franks was free to invade Iraq. Notice I said he invaded one country. Where Saddam was living. Saddam was very evil and Franks was not a bit unhappy taking over Iraq.

Franks plan for Iraq was sketchier. Paul Bremer was sent there to make a plan and enact it. Bremer is who decided to ban all the former Bath party members who worked for Saddam.

Nobody ever claimed Bin Laden was in Afghanistan when Franks worked with Afghanis to help them beat the Taliban. You provided no witnesses who testified he was in Afghanistan at that time.

Were we to invade Afghanistan, we would have to locate a country to use as a jumping off country. Franks could not get permission from other countries.
