No Kings? ...or no Brains?

The Protests I saw under the "No Kings" banner were peaceful in Upstate NY, mostly a combo of very old and very young women with signs.

The issue is if Anti-fa decides to use them as cover for violence this time around.

Well, peaceful should always be expected, sure.

Trump is reducing the power of government with tax and regulation cuts as well as spending cuts. Thats the opposite of an authoritarian.

Democrats increase the power of government and insert it into our personal lives. That is authoritarian
He's taking stakes in private industry.
He's using the FCC to regulate speech he doesn't like.
He's using the DoJ to go after his own personal enemies.
He's using tariffs to punish enemies and reward his friends.
He's using the treasury to prop up the currency of countries run by his buddies.
He's using the military to control cities.
He's declaring national emergencies to seize more power.
He's using national security to obscure his decisions.

Shall we go on?

He's trying to shore up US industry but making sure the government gets compensated for it
He's talked about FCC licenses for companies using regulated airwaves, but has done nothing
The Dems already did that.
He's using tariffs to protect American Interests
He's aiding allies
He's using the Guard to support government officers doing their legal jobs because the local law enforcement won't support them
We have emergencies, especially with illegal immigration and crime.
Useless statement is useless

You should go on, to the end of a pier, and keep walking.

He's making threats to punish people for exercising protected speech. It's authoritarian.
The Dems already did that.

Least transparent administration ever.

They didn't.

Trump is the first person to ever fire a governor on the Federal Reserve. Isn't that authoritarian?

Democrats suppressed free speech used the government to spy on and attack opponents, mandated policies that affected our personal lives, caused severe inflation that crushed the middle class, lied about Bidens dementia, forged orders with an auto pen, used the FBI to spy on GOP senators. The Biden administration was the most corrupt in history. The entire administration was based on lies

^^ Hates the idea of having freedom^^

You guys have gone with the Nazi/Fascist thing it no longer has any meaning. Now you go with the "authoritarian" bullshit and soon that will have no meaning.

Trump is using his legal powers as President using laws passed by Congress.

If you're referring to the federal reserve governor Lisa Cook, she did not resign. She's still in office and suing Trump for his illegal attempt to fire her.

Don't you think it's pretty authoritarian to fire someone when the law says he can only do so for cause?

There is a cause. Let the courts work it out

Trump can only fire a federal reserve governor for cause.

It's pretty authoritarian to make shit up about Lisa Cook and use that as an excuse to fire her, don't you think?

The law is unconstitutional and is being challenged.

All power in the executive branch flows from the President, and all executive power is handled by the executive branch.

Semi-independent "agencies" are unconstitutional and have been allowed to exist for far too long by far to activist jurists.
