Nike just announced a price increase due to Donald Trump’s tariffs.
But here’s the good news. Trump will demand that they “eat the tariffs”, , forcing Nike to reverse their decision.

Look I get it everyone wants more money on their bottom line. And some will use any lie they can to increase prices and then increase the bottom line. The only problem is a lot of folks see it for what it is since other companies are not raising prices and blaming it on tariffs.
I do not feel tariffs are a great thing but if a country has tariffs they should expect reciprocal tariffs. To claim a 60% tariff on the U.S. and expect them to only have 10% on their goods is crazy to say the least. In the real world China is a different story since not only do they have high tariffs on U.S. goods but an American company has no recourse when China steals intellectual property with impunity since an American company can not take them to a Chinese court

Tell that to two worker families getting by on 80-90K with two kids

I don't have all answers but it aint working how it has always been.

Get on board. At least this guy is trying to save the Country. New ideas are good. Stir the pot //

I remember the heat Jordan took decades ago when he signed up with Nike and it was exposed that they were making their shoes in slave factories in Bangladesh I believe.

How times have changed, not for the good...

Adidas announced a price increase. Did you feel embarrassed?

So now you feel embarrassed because you said that price increases only mattered if company doesn’t have ridiculously high prices. And you were not expecting to hear that Adidas raised priced. Now you can’t say that about Adidas so you pretend not to understand what’s going on.

Adidas announce a price increase too.
I only wear Skechers. They are made in Vietnam and I bought my new pairs before tariffs were implemented. They are the only type of shoes I will wear. If an American company could make them, I would buy American.
