I like Alan Jackson. His music is still true country music. It's not this asinine, moronic, vapid, cookie cutter HICK POP they play now. I'd rather listen to RAP than what is passed off as country today. I absolutely despise it.

I don't like most country, including most of Jackson - but yes, I would rather listen to 10 hours of Jackson than one of todays Hick Pop.
What country music I do like - is the old Honky Tonk that I am afraid is gone. Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Junior, Cash, some of Merle and Willie etc.
I can take a few Yokum songs... a few.
