Anyone who justifies that is wrong regardless of their political leanings. Just as those on the left who won't condemn those who try to assassinate President Trump or any manner of other evil are wrong.

But certainly people can legitimately be suspicious of accusations and wait for more evidence given the weaponization of government demonstrated against any who criticize or oppose it in anything, and that is coming mostly from the left.
