Emphasizing that California must stay at the forefront of the fight against climate change, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday issued an executive order to restrict new car sales in the state to only zero-emission vehicles by 2035 and threw his support behind a ban on the controversial use of hydraulic fracturing by oil companies. Any questions as to what Democrats want to do?

We need infrastructure upgrade now to also stimulate our economy!
You know as well as I do, Democrats will say they're for infrastructure upgrades. They'll raise our taxes through the roof and absolutely nothing will change. Although a number of those companies that were suppose to "stimulate the economy" will leave.
It was Republicans who had nothing but Repeal for all of those shovel ready jobs that would have had a more positive impact on our economy. Right wingers only love to complain about how weak the recover was when the "black guy" was in office.
You mean those shovel ready positions that Obama conceded weren't there? Those jobs?
Yes, those jobs that weren't there because the republicans refused to move forward on them. Those jobs.
Sorry, lie.
Second, Obama promised the stimulus would not only have a large impact but also an immediate impact.
Said the president-elect, "I'm confident ... our 21st century investments will create jobs immediately," adding, "We've got shovel-ready projects all across the country."
Those jobs never materialized, and it was not for lack of workers—or shovels. As President Obama
remarked in June 2011, "Shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected." He chuckled through the mea culpa, but it's no laughing matter. Obama failed to deliver—and at great cost to taxpayers
