Emphasizing that California must stay at the forefront of the fight against climate change, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday issued an executive order to restrict new car sales in the state to only zero-emission vehicles by 2035 and threw his support behind a ban on the controversial use of hydraulic fracturing by oil companies. Any questions as to what Democrats want to do?

Must I say it again?

While Trump wants cheap energy and abundant resources to unleash the full economic power of mankind in creating wealth and autonomy,

the Democrats want very EXPENSIVE energy, food and resources to severely LIMIT, CONTROL, and SLOW the economic power, wealth and autonomy of mankind, to punish us as a means of assuaging their white liberal guilt over 2,000 years of humanity having dominion over the Earth!

There is the FUNDAMENTAL real difference between Trump and the Left and why they really hate him!

I guess Gruesome Newsome likes power outages....pure 3rd world style living in the golden state....
They love that shit. If it was up to them, people should not have any power at all. It's not difficult telling who worships Lucifer.

I heartily endorse his plan. While he's at it, please ban fire trucks. They're the worst polluters, with all that stinky diesel smoke, and sucking up all that water.

Do it Gavin. You don't have a hair on your ass if you don't.

Good for Gov. Newsom; it's too bad the author of this post is fear mongering; mocking an issue which is one of the top challenges facing the earth and humanity today.
As the technology improves, put it to use without impoverishing people. Its not here yet. And frankly, the earth is going to do what the earth wants to do.

That is great but does Gavin understand the cost of those cars and the damage it does to the environment to build those cars especially to Africa?
Newsom...understand? LOL, good one.

Gov. Newsom hopes to get Californians into green vehicles like this
Sedan chair

Or perhaps like this, for highway driving.

Did a Stuntman Die in 'Ben-Hur'?'Ben-Hur'?
Not without the standard chariot wheel spikes for California Highway driving being thrown in for free.

We need infrastructure upgrade now to also stimulate our economy!
You know as well as I do, Democrats will say they're for infrastructure upgrades. They'll raise our taxes through the roof and absolutely nothing will change. Although a number of those companies that were suppose to "stimulate the economy" will leave.

Hellbent on destroying the economy of California

yep, watch the California exodus grow larger. That may be a good thing in that though many millions of conservatives reside here, our votes are pretty much null when it comes to the larger elections. Conservatives leaving here will help shore up the vote in other states like AZ, Texas and Nevada where the margins are closer. By 2035 I'll probably be joining the exodus myself though I still really like this state a lot.
Please don't come to Texas. You won't like it here. Everybody has guns, there are mexicans everywhere. It's hot all the time. Fender benders result in shoot outs. There are horses everywhere. They crap all over our yards and eat all the foliage. We build new prisons every six month and keep them full but the democrats empty them faster. Criminals everywhere. Cactus everywhere, it is awful here.
Not to mention, every damned thing in Texas either stings, bites, itches, makes you cough and sneeze, or breaks you out in a rash.

Cedar fever, stinging asps, fire ants, black widow spiders, copperheads, water moccasins, rattlers, and everything that grows has stickers on it.

And the wind never stops. Ever. One minute it's 101 degrees and two minutes later, the cold cuts through you like a knife.

And 1/16th of an inch of ice on the streets causes massive 100-car pileups, people ejected from their flaming cars, bodies everywhere moaning and groaning.

And the worst part, half the people there are from NY and NJ.

Who knows, perhaps Newsom is working on an EO for electric firetrucks. Then when PG@E shuts down power due to winds it won't be Newsom's fault.

He could solve that problem by just putting little windmills on the fire trucks. But I'd feel sorry for all those poor little birdies those windmills would kill.

Why force people to not be able to buy the car they want?

Why not let electric car makers make cars people want over ICE based cars?

There ya go, always thinking outside the box. We'll have to shoot off an email to Newsom with that suggestion.

Maybe Gavan should have thought about that before he killed his economy

Cortez would not approve of Horse Power like that because of the poop...

She's got a point their, anyone who has been to the track knows that "horse shit" isn't just an expression.

However, the poop doesn't sweep itself up. Transitioning to chariots would create millions of new green jobs.
